Koolskools visit Fulston Manor for Fairtrade Fortnight
Young co-operators at Fulston Manor School in Sittingbourne, Kent, were delighted to be visited by Andy Ashcroft from Koolskools during Fairtrade Fortnight. He ran four workshops for some very lucky Year 8 students.
Koolskools supplies Fairtrade school clothing, but staff love spending time with students talking about why Fairtrade is so important. Mr Ashcroft said: “I was very impressed that all four classes, in response to most of my questions, had more hands up than down. I was also impressed at the knowledge that the students already have for Fairtrade and their enthusiasm of the idea of embracing it. It was a fantastic day!”
Geography teacher Natasha Norman was also impressed with the day and couldn’t thank Mr Ashcroft enough. She said it was an “inspiring, educational and fun day”.

Following Andy’s visit to the school, Fulston Manor has decided to use Koolskools to provide Fairtrade polo shirts for PE kit and is delighted to be the first school in Kent to do so.
