Co-operative schools – where values make a difference animation
Huckleberry Films (Accrington-based creators of short animation The Story of the Rochdale Pioneers) have done it again! A new animation brings to life the ways co-operative values are embedded in co-operative schools, following students Rocky, Ravi (and their dog!) as they show the difference adopting a co-operative structure, and becoming part of a worldwide family of co-operatives, has made to their school.
Rocky and Ravi, who are student members of their co-operative school, explain how co-operative schools are co-operatively owned and controlled by their members, including parents/carers, staff, students at the school and members of the local community.
The short animation was commissioned by the Co-operative College as a resource for co-operative schools.
