Get your work in a global art book!
Would you like to see your artwork in a book of pictures by children all over the world? Young people aged between 6 and 15 are invited to take part in the Annual World Children’s Picture Contest, organised by the IE-NO-HIKARI Association in Japan.
Pictures can be in any medium but must be themed ‘Agriculture’, ‘Farming area’, ‘Nature’, ‘Environment’, ‘People’ or ‘Family’. The contest aims to promote international cultural exchange and create long-lasting goodwill and awareness among the world’s children; awaken children’s interest in co-operative movements; and help cultivate successors of the co-operative movement.
Last year there were over 27,000 entries from 60 countries, and the 200 winning entries are compiled in a colourful and inspiring commemorative book reflecting the diverse lives, landscapes and cultures experienced by young people across the world, from Eastern Europe to Africa, Scandinavia to China.
IE-NO-HIKARI Association is an agricultural co-operative organisation that works to foster cultures in rural village through publication of books and cultural activities.
